Also, if you are planning to add extra elements to your fan fiction, for example dungeons and medieval torture, make sure you do some reading before tossing it all in. There's no point in radically changing the Gundam Wing characters, if you change them too much you might as well create your own! I don't have any statistical data to back up what I am saying, but the majority of people reading Gundam Wing fan fiction are women. When it comes to yaoi Gundam Wing fan fiction, the percentage of women reading is even higher. And what do women care most about? Romance and feelings! They don't care too much about how Heero's Wing Zero works or how Zechs operates the Talgeese. Boys (and girls, all right) that want to read about senseless sex can go read some PWPs or watch a hentai movie. So, describe how people feel, use adjectives "Trowa's voice was husky...", talk about body language, facial expressions, make it vivid, so that the person reading your fan fiction can feel like they were there. Don't overdo it thought; you should not make your Gundam Wing fan fiction too saccharine either. When you manage to find a "happy medium", your Gundam Wing fan fiction will be just right. Off course, I am talking about what I like here, the most important thing is that you like your fics yourself. I am only giving you some pointers.
