Mulan Reflection. Disney's movie "Mulan" has an interesting main character. The song "Reflection" by Christina Aguilera is truly wonderful and I am sure lots of people can relate to Mulan's "reflection".

Here are the lyrics of the beautiful song, Mulan: Reflection. I was moved when I first heard Mulan Reflection, but I didn't know it was sung by Christina Aguilera herself! The lyrics of Reflection, Mulan, convey a powerful message.
Disney's Mulan is a strong character who can't conform to her society's standards about women. Mulan's reflection is what she's do desperately trying to be to please everyone, but after some unfortunate events with a match making lady (not that it wasn't going to happen, anyway), Mulan finally understands that her reflection is not who she really is and that she can't keep going like this. Mulan looks at her reflection in the river, then raises her hand to wash out the white powder from her face and look at who she is. That happens at the beginning of the movie. By the end of the movie, Mulan has accepted who she is and become a national hero in the process. ^_^
So, the meaning of the Disney Mulan reflection is that there's no use trying to conceal your true identity, because in the long run you only hurt yourself and your loved ones, by creating a reflection, an illusion, a doppelhanger whatever of the real you. I wish I could listen to my own advice, just this once. :)
