1.Tigers:It's better shoot them from above, because their sharp teeth will make you die. Try to make them appear and then quickly climb on a block, or alternatively, jump to avoid them while firing.2.Crows:I don't remember losing energy from a crow. A few rounds with the pistols and they go dooooooown. They have an annoying habit though. They tend to knock you off the ledges, so you should finish them off before they get too dangerous. Rolls can be handy there. 3.Baddies in Venice:There are baddies with thugs and other who wear masks and hold guns. Two shots with the shotgun will bring them down. In the Opera House, you should shoot the ones with the thugs from the other side of the pool, as they are harmless from there. Jumping over them with roll and shooting at their unarmed backs is always a good idea to get rid of them quickly. 4.Dobermans:Rapid dogs that like biting people. Anyway, a well-aimed shot with the Shotgun, or some bullets of Lara's standard pistols, combined with some jumping will do the job. Backflpis can be very useful to avoid their sharp teeth. 5.Small Bosses:There are two small bosses in the game, one in the Opera House and another one in the Home Sweet Home level. Five Grenades, a few rounds with the Shotgun or with the Uzis will kill them. However, as their weapons are powerful, you should jump around to avoid their shots or find a safe place to shoot them from. 6.Ship Baddies:They are strong but a few rounds with M-16 will kill them. Use the same technique as with the Venice baddies. 7.Flame Throwers:They are very easy to kill, you only have to avoid their fire. A good idea is to stay behind them or jump left and right to avoid the fire. As they don't throw fire immediately, you should start shooting at them right after you see them. 8.White Sharks:Tough underwater enemies that need about 4 harpoons to get killed, but as it's very easy to miss, you'll probably need about 7 or 8. They are not very quick, but their jaws are very effective. You can kill them from dry land of course, but if you can't(as in the beginning of 40 Fathoms), it's better to avoid them for a while, find some air and then finish them off. 9.Scuba Divers:These underwater enemies can be killed with 5-6 harpoons. It is easier to aim if Lara is below them and points her harpoon at them. So what you should do is try to get Lara below them and harpoon them quickly. If you find a place to pull up, it's better to try and beat them from dry land. A good idea is to try to sidejump to avoid getting too much damage from their harpoons which are effective both underwater and on land. 10.Small fish(Barracudas):They are weak but very fast. They need 2-3 harpoons to die. You can kill them from dry land of course. It is better to make them appear, shoot them with one harpoon to slow them down and climb out of the water and shoot them with your pistols. Sometimes, it is better to just avoid them, because time underwater is too valuable to spend on them. 11.Eels:They are extremely hard to kill, but why bother with them, as they won't follow you? The thing you have to do is swim quickly and have a good timing to avoid their bites. 12.Tibet Baddies:They are strong, but if you stand behind them and shoot at them with your Uzis or with the M-16,they will soon die. What you've got to do is have your weapons drawn before entering an unexplored area or after pulling a lever e.t.c and immediately point your weapons at them. You should keep moving to avoid getting to much damage and try to stay behind them for as much as possible. If you've been friendly enough to the monks they'll give you a hand with these baddies. You can ride your snowmobile over these tough men as well. If they are the ones on a snowmobile, you should find a block at all costs, because it's extremely hard to jump and avoid being squashed like a bug by their snowmobiles. 13.Warrior Monks:You shouldn't shoot at them. If you do, they will mess up with you in the whole Barkhang Monastery level. If you don't, they'll even help you out with the baddies. If you do choose to fire at them, it is a good idea to climb on a block and kill them or jump to avoid their spear while firing with rapid weapons. 14.Yetis:These monsters can unfortunately climb up blocks, but one grenade will blow them up. You should also try to jump over them and then roll, or jump with mid-air turn. If there are not many, you could backflip, too. But if it's a group, it's better to keep running and jumping to avoid being circled around. It is convenient that you can shoot several ones from above. 15.Snow Leopards:They usually attack in groups and they're much quicker than the tigers. You should jump around while firing. Be sure that after you've finished off one, your weapons lock on another one and not on the corpse. If you're running out of energy and you're near the water, it's a nice idea to drop into the water, pull up when they're away, fire at them for as long as you can and jump in the water again, before they reach you. Or, you could find a safe spot such as a block to shoot them from.16.Guardian of Talion:He appears once you get the Talion artifact in Ice Palace and you come close to the ground part. A dozen or so grenades will kill him, but you can always climb up to the place with the gong or get in the hut with the secret and shoot him with your pistols. That's the best idea actually, because you really need to conserve your grenades for later on. 17.Spiders:The small ones can be killed with 2-3 shots with the pistols. However, the large ones in the Temple of Xian level, should be killed by automatic pistols, uzis or by the grenade launcher. If you want to conserve ammo, you should jump around and roll to avoid their powerful mouth, or find a safe spot to shoot them from. 18.Petrified Guards(Flying):They are green statues that come to life if you come near them or do a specific action, such as pulling a lever. These monsters fly carrying a sword. They will walk when they come close to you. Some people say that you should shoot them when they are stone, but it doesn't work on all systems and platforms. You should shoot at them as they're flying as they are harmless when doing so and then jump around to avoid them. There are also some safe spots for you to hide and kill them, for example, they can't go through some doorways because of their size. Three grenades can make them die and explode. 19.Petrified Guards (Spearmen):They are green statues that come to life if you come near them or do a specific action, such as pulling a lever. These monsters are very fast and carry two long and dangerous spears. You should find a safe spot and shoot at them, because they can be really harmful. In the Floating Islands level, there's an awful lot of them around. In the place where they are standing in front of some switches, I've found something useful to do to get rid of them without getting too much damage. You know, I am talking about the room underneath the bigger hall with the closed gate, which is guarded by two of them. What you should do is awaken them and quickly run and climb up to the ledge in the center of the room and then shoot them from there. When you can't, it is better to use your grenade launcher. The usual jumping and firing won't work very well with them, because they need a huge amount of bullets to go down. Some people say that you should shoot them when they are stone, but it doesn't work on all systems and platforms. Three grenades can make them die and explode. 20.Bartoli Guards(ninjas):They are armed with sharp knives and blades, so you should to jump to avoid them. A couple of grenades will kill them, but if you don't want to waste ammo, you should use your uzis or automatic pistols combined with jumps and mid-air rolls. 21.Dragon:This is the boss enemy and he can't be killed in the usual way. You have to make him faint for a while and remove the dagger from his heart before he gets up. The uzis are the best choice. You should shoot at him while jumping, backflipping and rolling while on air to avoid his fire and his stomping feet. It's vital that you keep moving. You should never go near the wall, for he may trap you there. It is not a very good idea to dive into the holes if you catch fire, because it is difficult to pull up. You should reload instead. Another idea is to swim to the surface then immediately dive and swim to the opposite direction and quickly pull up, hoping that the dragon is not as fast as you are. Once you take the dagger, the dragon dies, the ground begins to shake and the ceiling starts to collapse. Time for yet another harrowing escape.
1.Rats:It is very easy to kill these animals. Just fire 2-3 times with the pistols and they'll be gone. The only problem is that sometimes, you may not notice them in a dark place and that will enable them to start biting your feet. So, keep an ear to hear the little squeaking sound they make.2.T-Rex:You meet only two, in the level Great Wall of China. They attack you in the darkness, but if you keep jumping and firing with your pistols, or if you find a small opening to shoot them from, everything will be OK and you'll manage to get the Gold Dragon(third secret).
