How do I back up my hard drive? Doing a hard drive back up is really easy to do, provided you have a second hard drive disk or a zip drive to back up your files into.
You basically plug in the device you have and then go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup to start the hard drive back up. Then, you follow the instructions on the screen. Tha Backup Wizard will ask you questions, you will select your answers, then click next and finally push "start" to begin your hard drive back up. If you only have a CD or something with limited capacity, you will only be able to back up a small fraction of your hard drive, that is, just the most important files.
