Livejournal Html Codes

The Livejournal html for text, external links and images is for the most part the same as normal html.

<b>text</b> for bold text <U>text</u> for underlined text and so on

Cool html code tricks include text with a line through it. <s>text</s>

It's used to express a variety of things, most often in the same way we somehow correct a very blatant statement in oral speech. Example:

We'll be happy to pounce meet you.

I read this on a Livejournal community and it cracked me up.

But, what about special Livejournal html codes?

The two most widely used specil html codes on Livejournal are the <lj-cut></lj-cut> and the <lj user="username"> tags. The latter is used to create an automatic link with an icon to the person's Livejournal or community or whatever. The former enables you to create a "read more" page for the text between the lj cut html tags. You will probably have to see an example to understand what the code does. It's a very useful tag, one every livejournal member should learn to use properly.
